Ourchive Story Community Guidelines

Last updated: Jun 25th, 2019

WITH THESE COMMUNITY GUIDELINES WE INTEND TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY IN WHICH EVERYONE IS WELCOME AND ALL PEOPLE FEEL COMFORTABLE SHARING AND INTERACTING WITH EACH OTHER.

In order to help facilitate a positive environment, here are a few important reminders:

  • Stories, communities and their accompanying photographs, metadata and descriptive text must be done in a responsible and thoughtful manner.
  • We will not allow the Ourchive website to be used for attacks on others based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition.
  • We will not tolerate the use of the Ourchive website to bully or harass anyone.

Ourchive will remove stories, photographs, or other user-generated materials that don’t follow the Ourchive Terms of Use or Community Guidelines (ex: nudity, bullying, abuse, graphic violence, hate speech). If you see, hear, or read something that violates our Community Guidelines or Terms of Use, please flag the content as objectionable immediately. Ourchive also takes any report of this nature seriously, and will review the content in question. If the flagged material violates our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines, the content will be permanently deleted from the Ourchive.

For Ourchive, thoughtfulness and respect are the cornerstones of the community we are building. The higher the degree of respect you show to others, the more rewarding your experience will be.
